This Is Not a Government Office. Missouri Court Records is a private reference site. We cannot pull official documents, file paperwork, or issue certified copies. Those services must come from the Missouri court, local custodian, or state agency that holds the record.
Need an Official Document?
Local court files, probate matters, marriage licenses, jail bookings, and warrant confirmation begin with the office in the filing or issuing jurisdiction. Use the Missouri county directory to reach a Circuit Clerk, Probate Division, Recorder of Deeds, sheriff, or municipal division. Statewide products come from separate Missouri agencies.
- Court case files and certified judgments: contact the Circuit Clerk in the filing county or St. Louis City
- Original marriage licenses: contact the issuing Recorder of Deeds; the Circuit Clerk holds the full divorce file
- State marriage or divorce statements: use the Missouri Bureau of Vital Records
- State criminal history: use the MSHP MACHS Name Search or an authorized fingerprint process
- State prison and supervision records: use the Missouri DOC Offender Search
- County jail or active warrant: contact the local sheriff and issuing court through the county directory
- Sex-offender records: use the Missouri Sex Offender Registry
